A new report released by Which? at the end of June 2014, revealed that out of the 5,409 customers they surveyed, independent optician shops topped the survey with a customer satisfaction score of 88%.
One of the well known high street opticians featured further down the list at 72% but many of the others, including some supermarket opticians only managed to get lower scores with the lowest receiving just 59% of the votes.
The survey showed that the top opticians came out best on items such as convenient appointments, punctuality, great products and value for money.
